Tip Tam Camping Resort | Butterfly Camping Resort

100 1407 Tip Tam Camping Resort | Butterfly Camping Resort Here we are again. Last week we stayed in the Tip Tam Camping Resort. Surprisingly to the some feedback I got from different campers, the place wasn’t so bad. Really when you compare it to some other campgrounds the place was nice. The sites were clean, facilities were clean and they was a 24 hr security. The place was very quiet and clean, now I must admit it was a mid week so there was almost no campers but from the looks of it the place was nice.

Now, if you ask the kids, the place was boring, why? For the girls, there was no boys to mingle with! Although my son had found companionship with some people around his age. The girls complained of how freezing the pool was, and how they had to pay to shower, for it was the first campground that we ever had to pay in order to use the showers.

b1 Tip Tam Camping Resort | Butterfly Camping Resort From Tip Tam Campground we went back to Butterfly Camping Resort. Now it looks like they love this place. Again we spent there a weekend and the girls spent all day lounging and tanning by the pool, and there were boys, so the social life for the girls was more exiting than in the other campground.

Bottom line, Tip Tam is not a bad place to visit, but it is also not the best.

Pomona RVing Resort

For the weekend the family and I were going to Pomona RVing Resort, in Pomona near Atlantic City. I had brought my best friend Jess with me because I didn’t want to go alone. We first got to the place and we didn’t like it because it was much smaller than all the other campgrounds we have been to. But we soon changed our minds once we met all sorts of different people. Throughout our stay at Pomona, Jess and I had met a total of 7 guys and 1 girl. The first two we met because their camper was right across from ours and they were around our age. The next two we met at the pool, and another 2 became friends with the ones who were across from us. Jess and I had also met someone who is going to be potentially famous, and was just passing through, and his sister. My brother Kristian also met a bunch of people too. We all had a good time, and when we weren’t at the pool we were with our new friends and if we weren’t doing that we were at the picnic area where they had free wifi. Another interesting thing about the place was they had a Christmas in July. They had a DJ come one night and Jess and I even sang karaoke, it was my first time. We all had a blast and I would definitely continue to go there. There was a range of many age groups and I would be interested to see who I would meet next time.

Tamerlane RV Resort, NJ

For a couple days my family spent some time at an RV resort called Tamerlane. My youngest son had a blast making all kinds of new friends, but on the other hand my daughter was not too fond of the place. The place was very crowded though, taking into consideration that there was at least 300 campsites there, and about 98% of them were permanent sites. There were a bunch of kids riding around on bikes and having tons of fun, like my son for example. He spent all his time on his bike riding around with his new friends, mainly because they were all around his general age area. But my daughter, the 15-year-old teenager, thought quite differently of the place. Because she had no friend to bring and could not find someone her age, she didn’t have as much fun, but instead she lounged by their pool all day. The place was frequently on and off with power, but they were changing owners and updating their utilities. This place is more recommended for people who have younger children, or people who just want to relax and are looking for a permanent residence with their camper.

Butterfly Camping Resort | Jackson, NJ

This past weekend my family and I went to a campground in Jackson, NJ called Butterfly Camping Resort. My dad allowed my brother and I to both bring a friend, so I brought my best friend Jess. When we got there, we noticed the place was more for kids of a younger age. It had mini golf, a playground, and a bunch of little kiddy rides that you would usually put a quarter or so into for it to run. Nevertheless, they also had a small basketball court, volleyball net with sand, a big open space to do whatever, a dunk tank, and a nice pool area with a cabana. The pool is where Jess and I spent most of our time, tanning. The rest of the time we were on the playground and keeping my niece occupied.

We took pictures 24/7 and we were always having something to do. Also, we visited their store a lot because they had food, souvenirs, and apparel. I actually bought myself some sweatpants that I wear a lot because they are very comfy. That weekend was also Father’s Day, and since my friend was away from her dad she had bought him a coffee mug and a picture frame to give to him, in order to make it up. All in all, although we had not met people exactly our age, there were plenty ranging from infants to kids in middle school. We had a lot of fun and I would highly recommend it to someone with children. (By: Monique)

There even was a Memorial Day (not on Monday but on Sunday) parade. See the videos. Even Though the summer is mot in the fool swing the wither we had was just perfect.

This is what Kids had to say about it:
My weekend at Blueberry Hill Campground. It was a holiday, so therefore there were many people around my age there. Some younger and others older, but nevertheless, I still found some nice people to make friends with. I had to of met one of the funniest kids in my entire life there. I had a really good time with everyone and the campground provided a few activities to do. I had a lot of fun and I was actually extremely upset to have to go back home and go to school, when usually I’m the one complaining about not wanting to go camping. But I know these are people who I’ll never forget and I got to be the real me for once. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

Oil change

I was browsing through the local paper when I saw an interesting answer to the interesting and for long time debated question: Can I switch from synthetic to regular engine oil?
The answer to this question, according to the article, is “the experts at Mobil and also those at Valvoline say you can shift back to conventional oil and there will be no problem.
However, they offer one caution: Anyone who has a high-mileage vehicle or one that has been, ah, neglecting in the ways of regular oil changes, and shifts from conventional to synthetic for the first time should shorten the oil-change interval for a couple of cycles. That will allow the new oil to most effectively clean the muck and deposits that are no doubt residing in the vehicle’s innards.”
So there you have it. According to experts in this article, “yes” you can go back to conventional oil and there will be no problems.
